Major Areas of Responsibilities
•Delivery assurance, supply chain sourcing and capacity assessments, ensuring timely transitions execution, and driving completion of industrial plans for critical engineering changes.
•Support all program activities with the coordination and maintenance of the program industrial plan with CIPTs, Module Centers, Partner Companies and Global Supply Chain.
•Part improvements will be monitored through a series of Key Process Indicators and standard delivery metrics.
•Act as the operations point of contact for Pratt & Whitney’s external customer and key program partners. This includes leading critical quarterly program industrial reviews, supporting all customer-facing communications, and coordinating local and on-site meetings with cross-functional teams.
•Gather data to create manage and monitor process metrics regarding inventory, delivery assurance and materials management.
•Analyze data reports to make decisions or suggest improvements.
•Apply Project Management in all projects without direct supervision.
•Resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
•Participate in audits.
•Assigned to complex projects or multiple tasks within functional discipline.
•Gather, coordinate, manage, and update process metrics used in the ACE Continuous Improvement Operating System, within P&W PR and/or P&W PR Customers.
•Assist Supervisor in estimating, initiating, and coordinating team projects.
Other Areas
•Attend and have participation in group meetings, teleconferences and/or training required.
•Actively participate in initiatives for continuous improvement using ACE tools and support AS9100 efforts. Obtain ACE Associate certification.
•Support project management activities.
•Based on business needs, the incumbent may be required to support other duties/functions within the company.
Basic Qualifications:
BS degree Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM)
5+ years of relevant experience in Business Administration, Materials Management, Industrial Management, Project Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Program Management OR 3+ years with an Advanced Degree/MBA
US Citizenship is required
English fluency (verbal and written)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in government contracts a plus
Experience in Manufacturing/Engineering/Materials Management/Supply Chain/Continuous Improvement
Demonstrated experience working with executive level management
Strong strategic leadership and talent development skills
Detailed task oriented
Aerospace industry experience
Team Center application preferred
High proficiency in MS Office suite
Proficiency in SAP system
Good communication and presentation skills
Strong administrative skills: Must be able to manage multiple tasks and adhere to specific timetables
Extremely detail and process oriented
Ability to work in a team environment
