Senior Manager, Design Engineering (Hybrid)

Job descriptions for Manger of Monuments: Lead a team of designers, provide training and mentoring with the goal of optimizing development of tools, databases, and workflows procedures. Manage and oversee activities of the engineering group for Monument. Ensuring program and interdepartmental success. Work with other department leaders to ensure standardization of work.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Resource allocations/forecast

• Ensure meeting company objectives of Quality, Budget, and Schedule

• Cultural change of transparent communication, trust, honesty, and respect.

• Coaching and mentoring of employees (grow the team)

• Give and receive feedback

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience OR

• Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience OR

• In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required

• Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws / regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Have Monument design experience. (both airline/OEM and VIP)

• Be able to help in technical design issues.

• Have leadership experience with a team larger than 10.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.  Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
