Senior Software Engineer (C++/JAVA)(Part-Time) (On- Site)

We are looking for a talented Sr Software Engineer (C++) to join our team working out of our El Segundo, CA office location. This position is part-time and requires the selected candidate to work 20-35 hours per week.
 
Typical job functions for Sr Software Engineer include:

• Participation on collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams, often employing agile software development techniques and resources to plan, design, develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions.
• Being responsible for some or all a Software product, contributing as a software team member and possibly instructing a small software team.
• Responsibilities spanning the full lifecycle of product development, from architecture and design, through integration, test, and field support.

Required Skills:

• Typically, a minimum of 5 years of Professional Software development experience.

• Experience with C, C++, Java, or other computer languages.

• U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

• Must be able to acquire SECRET Clearance within first year of employment.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Agile lifecycle process including Scrum, Continuous Integration and Test-Driven Development Methodologies
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS), embedded programming, processor/board architecture and design.
• Experience developing, guiding, or coaching a small software team.
• Experience with some or all phases of software development: architecture, design, implementation, testing, and system integration.
• Experience in Communications (Radios) or Electronic Warfare domains.
• MS / MA with a major in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or another related field.
   

Education:

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline.
