Stockroom, Team Lead (ONSITE)

Collin's Aerospace is looking for a Stockroom Team Lead at our Opa Locka, FL Facility. The Stockroom Team Lead will provide logistic documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked. You will review configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment. Plan, schedule and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving, or the warehouse, to production. This hours for this position are 6am to 2:30pm.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintains records of inventories (cycle counts) and location (sap) for inventory control and cost accounting
• Provides personal leadership for company employee relations policies and safety and health requirements in the stockroom area
• Identifies the causes of product losses and takes corrective action
• Assists team members to plan and prioritize daily schedule(s) to meet customer requirements
• Controls costs through productivity of personnel, efficient utilization of storage space, and proper protection of stored materials
• Work with quality personnel to achieve Part protection, expired material and identify non-conforming parts.
• Proficiently uses computer hardware/software.
• Maintains production and delivery schedules.
• Assist with responding to basic customer questions and concerns regarding storage and distribution services.
• Delegates daily assignments to the team.
• Works with all other departments and communicates on a daily basis to insure material is flow down.
• Keeps daily attendance.
• Maintain 5’s within the department.
• Maintains records and works with quality on all forms assigned to the department.
• Maintains material inventory and performs cycle counts.
• Works along with the rest of the team on daily tasks.
• Leads events to increase productivity and eliminates waste within the department.

Basic Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with less than 2 years of relevant experience.

• Demonstrated computer skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Attention to detail

• Performs routine and repetitive tasks
