Systems Engineer (Onsite)

The Systems Engineering and Integration Test (SEIT) organization support these programs with the generation of concept development, trade studies, systems requirements analysis, systems architecture development, systems integration, and requirements verification. The CSI SEIT team is responsible for full life cycle engineering for government applications which are primarily on classified programs that support the intelligence community. Capabilities include ground systems for GEOINT and SIGINT systems, large-scale data processing and exploitation storage architectures and high performance data handling and processing systems. Additionally, CSI provides expertise in large-scale systems development, integration and deployment of high performance SIGINT and GEOINT systems, missions and resource management, information management, visualization, knowledge discovery and advanced analytics.
 
This position is a developmental role for an Entry Level Systems Engineer with the technical and communication knowledge, along with the basic skills, needed to support ongoing and emerging programs. This role provides ample room for growth and learning opportunities. The ideal candidate will use their knowledge to support requirement analysis and hierarchical decomposition, development of system architecture and assist in the planning and coordination of system delivery to customer/user site.

• Correction and update of documents, contribute to presentations, support design reviews, support customer requests for information and recommend appropriate configuration, equipment and software changes to satisfy requests and system integration and test support.

  Security Clearance & Other Requirements:
  Qualified applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet the requirements to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI government security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. 

Required Experience:

• Familiarity and demonstrated interest in system engineering processes, including requirements definition, design, test planning, test implementation, data analysis, and operations support

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Demonstrated problem solving, organization, coordination, and planning skills

• Team oriented team member with excellent interpersonal skills

• Familiarity with tools such as MATLAB, C++, Java or Python

Desired Skills:

• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying)

• Familiarity with Requirement Management tools such as IBM Rational DOORs or others

• Basic understanding of DEVSECOPS

• Basic understanding of Agile development process

• Understanding or experience with AI/M

Required Education:
BS Degree in Physics, Math, Engineering, or related discipline by summer 2022. 
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is desired.

This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).

**In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this is $61,000-$79,000; however; Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training and key skills.
