    We’re looking for Sr. Motion Designer & Animator to join the internal creative team and help modernize the brand through new motion design standards. You’re a thought-leader helping advance the craft. But also a hands-on doer, who can’t wait to show off ideas that make people feel something.

    Most of all, you are a storyteller that lives to bring concepts to life. You see motion as more than a craft—to you it’s a problem solving tool for communications, for product, and for user experiences.

    You’ll produce compelling content - from concept to delivery—used across a variety of programs, channels, and platforms.  From a motion study for a long-scrolling site; to a cinemagraph on social; to reimagining endcard sequences—your job will be to transform static moments into surprisingly delightful ones.

    You’ll also be an integral part of the creative process. This means you’ll pitch ideas, collaborate with writers, designers, and stakeholders. Creating a variety of motion design documents including storyboards, animatics, creative briefs, motion specs, and guidelines. Evolving our motion language, one project, one asset, and one timeline at a time.

    What you’ll do:

    • Evangelizing motion across the organization

    • Finding opportunities where motion can enhance the work

    • Evolving our motion language, guidelines and principles

    • Helping designers think about how things feel, move, act, sound, and express emotion

    • Finding and sharing new ways of working, new workflows and new tools

    What you’ll bring:

    • 5+ years experience at in-house studio or agency

    • 2+ years leading a team with direct-reports

    • Technical champion with an obsessive attention to detail

    • Range of experience across all mediums: social, video, apps, broadcast, film

    • Self-starter, with something to prove

    • Optimist, fast-learner and deeply curious

    • A knack for editorial, sound design, and timing

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

    • 3D tools (Cinema 4D/Maya)

    • Automation and programmatic animation

    • HTML, CSS, and JS standards

    The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect in the listed locations. We tailor our offers based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, location and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.  All ranges are location based, ranges for positions in other locations may vary based on the local market.

    Salary Range for select office locations 

    Santa Clara $99,050 to $141,150

    New York $92,050 to 131,150

    Pay-for-performance is a key element in our strategy to attract, engage, and motivate talented people to do their best work. Accordingly, offers extended for this role will include an annual bonus target typically expressed as percentage of salary.  Similarly to salary, annual incentive bonus targets are set based on a variety of factors including job level, competitive market practice, experience, tenure, and essential skills.
