Job Summary
The Compliance Specialist will conduct regular audits, surveys and investigations of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the permanent injunction issued to Terminix relating to its franchise obligations, with relevant legal obligations and minimizing risk to the organization. The role will also partner with HR and Marketing to understand the changing compliance rules and laws within the jurisdictions which we operate. The role will ensure compliance related to legacy franchisees and regulatory compliance.

Ensured compliance maintained from federal, state, and local jurisdictions
Number of audits and surveys performed year over year
absence of violations
Functional Partner awareness of compliance obligations
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Partner with functional partners so they are aware of legal requirements
Perform audits to measure partner adherence against those requirements
Support the risk and compliance team to ensure the company remains in compliance from federal, state, and jurisdiction perspectives
ensure compliance in ancillary projects (I-9 compliance, telemarketing, ect…)
Develop training content for colleagues who are operating in franchise territories
Occasionally serves as subject matter expert for regulatory requirements and ensures locations and employees are following franchise
support compliance across the enterprise as needed
CANDIDATE SUMMARY
Required Experience
3 years of related experience and/or training in an audit or compliance role. experience working with telemarketing, marketing, HR, and legal a plus
Prior experience in enterprise risk management a plus
Attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret government regulations and franchise agreements
Formal Education, Qualifications or Training
