    Job Summary: 

    This position manages the team that produces compelling, impactful and innovative leadership development and enterprise learning experiences for Rentokil Terminix. They will lead the L&D team to drive strategic initiatives that will result in functional excellence. They will manage and augment the team's capacity to meet production demands by partnering with best-in-class vendors and business line teams. This leader will influence and build strong relationships with all functions within the department as well as senior stakeholders across Rentokil Terminix to ensure strong alignment on priorities and deliverables.

     

    Key Performance Indicators: 

    ● Ensure the evaluation of individual and organizational development needs.

    ● Ensure the identification, design and development of training programs that build management 

    capabilities throughout the workforce.

    ● Establish and maintain individual and organizational performance evaluation methods for training

    content, delivery, activities, engagement and outcomes. 

    ● Partner with executives and key stakeholders to ensure alignment with priorities and roadmaps to

    include an M&A integration support agenda.

    ● Champion an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity and competitive

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities 

    ● Develop and execute enterprise learning and leadership development strategies and programs (i.e.

    Leadership University, MIP, RAMP, JMO, Branch Manager Integration Support Program, Internship program, etc.).

    ● Collect, analyze and maintain data gathered to inform targeted leadership development 

        (i.e. succession planning) by conducting analysis to provide leadership awareness of the    

        current skills inventory in the organization, as well as identify existing skill gaps.

    ● Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training,

    virtual instructor led) to increase training transfer, learner engagement and decrease cognitive load. 

    ● Provide strategic oversight and direction for annual learning events such as the North America

    Career and Learning Festival.

    ● Provide strategic oversight and direction for leadership and performance management learning

    provider vendor relationships (i.e. ExecOnline, BizLibrary, Franklin Covey, LinkedIn, etc.)

    ● Utilize metrics to validate knowledge transfer and return on investment, metric sources include: Learning completion rates, time to proficiency, colleague retention, internal mobility, progress toward closing skill gaps and diversity goals. 

    ● Continuously develop and grow L&D team's capabilities to solve increasingly complex business and 

    learning problems.

    ● Partner with Career and Talent Management and Learning Design and Technology teams to ensure 

    learning solutions get to market in a timely fashion and achieve the adoption and business results

    expected.

    ● Stay on top of industry trends and developments and leverage new and innovative learning 

    technologies and approaches to take Rentokil Terminix’s learning experiences to the next level.

    CANDIDATE SUMMARY 

    Required Experience:

        ● A minimum of 7 years of training and /or HR experience.

        ● 4+ years extensive experience leading the development of innovative and compelling learning experiences in a variety of modern channels.

        ● Excellent program management and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to lead multiple cross-functional initiatives simultaneously.

        ● Experience measuring Return on Investment of learning impact.

        ● Demonstrated capability to drive change and adoption of modern design and development practices, standards and processes.

        ● Exceptional relationship-building, problem-solving and collaboration skills.

        ● Learner-centric, advocates for human-centered design.

    pressure while maintaining sound judgment and a rigorous focus on the details.

    ● Proactive, takes initiative and demonstrates excellent judgment in a dynamic, changing environment. 

    ● Adapts quickly to change, and shows enthusiasm and resourcefulness when tackling challenging assignments and requests.

    ● Must have the flexibility to travel as necessary and work non-traditional work days as

    needed to account for global time zone differences.

    Formal Education, Qualifications or Training:

     

    Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree in Organizational Development or related field

         strongly preferred

    • Close visual acuity to perform detail-oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm’s reach with skill, control, and accuracy, such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.
