Job Summary
Reporting to the Director, Residential Marketing (Termite/Home Services or Pest/Mosquito), this role owns the Product Level profit and loss (P&L) of their assigned products. For a defined set of product lines, leads cross functional team, comprised of key stakeholders across Operations, Technical, Marketing, Finance, and Sales, and then secures agreement at a strategic level with Executive Leadership (CEO/ELT) for any resource requirements (e;g,, IT Development or Financial spending). Manages approved plans with the cross functional team for implementation and serves as the end-to-end cross-functional leader of their solution lines of business, making spending decisions for the profit and loss statement (P&L) of their assigned solution lines related to Price, Promotion or Marketing. In addition to delivery of the business plan, the role is also accountable for the pipeline of new products, ensuring product management innovation plans are defined, aligned with executive leadership, and executed by cross-functional business team partners.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Takes ownership of the assigned product lines in all aspects of the business, ensuring lead growth, retention and upsell plans are clearly defined and implemented to ensure market share, sales, profitability, cancels, and renewals are addressed by cross functional partners.
Owns profit and loss (P&L) of their assigned products and is responsible for leading a cross functional team to achieve results.
Coordinates with Performance & Digital Marketing teams to ensure proper execution of defined product strategies and plans for a given line of business
Coordinates with Local Marketing Director to ensure execution of product strategies and plans at the local level, and ensures local needs are embedded in go to market plans for products for a given line of business.
Leads a cross-functional team to support and drive success of a given product line, including Operations, Sales, Marketing, IT and Finance team members.
Coordinates with other team members within a Residential Marketing Category (eg, Termite/Home Services) to build product line specific business plans across Proposition, Pricing, Programs and Placement that represent all customer, internal and external.
Sets direction for execution of a given product's consumer value proposition across marketing pillars
Clearly communicates roadmaps, priorities, experiments and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences from partner teams to executive levels for a given product line.
Develops and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regular communication.
Leads the product positioning, pricing, consumer research, selling stories/strategies, and the digital communication strategies/spend required, to assure that a new product is justifiable to the business.
Develops and manages product roadmap for a given product line, from concept through sun-setting and/or conversion. Identifies opportunities for process/business rule improvement to drive efficiency and results.
Leads cross functional team members to identify market, segment, and channel opportunities for a product line. Leads / directs all market research related to a category or set lines of business, ensuring cross functional stakeholder alignment through executive levels to the the opportunity assessment as a key first stage of the strategy and planning process.
In addition to the assigned line of business, will also be assigned to lead, make recommendations and/or implement special and often confidential or sensitive projects, including but not limited to, new channel development, confidential new science, mergers/acquisition work, partnership programs or new marketing techniques.
CANDIDATE SUMMARY
Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a Economics, Marketing or related area; Master’s degree a plus.
5-7 years experience in product management or related Marketing functions
Strong leadership, influencing, and presentation skills are required.
Strong executive presence and oral communication skills
Deep knowledge of consumer-based marketing funnel, from awareness to advocacy
Understanding of lead creation, development, nurturing, and management.
Strong knowledge of product go to market strategies, including pricing, promotion, place and proposition development.
Strong understanding of consumer market research and how to apply it to strategy
Superior data analytics capability. Statistical understanding a plus
Must possess superior verbal and written communication skills.
Business acumen - Ability to provide leadership and direction at a cross functional leadership level
Focus on consumer needs, market conditions and competitive environment
Excellent organizational skills with a heightened sense of attention to detail are key characteristics of the perfect candidate.
Strong interpersonal skills that allow for healthy internal and external relationships are a must.
Additionally, strong computer skills whereby the candidate is fluent in cloud base Marketing Software
Experience with the Google Platform is a plus.
Experience in a consumer-focused, branded product or services business required

Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong understanding of corporate marketing and influencing key financial performance indicators including content strategies, marketing and digital content.

Formal Education, Qualifications or Training
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a Economics, Marketing or related subject
Master’s Degree preferred
