About the role

The world is cutting the cord and streaming its TV online, a shift that has dramatically changed how advertisers target, reach and measure their preferred. In this new world, Roku has re-written the rules of modern advertising and we need a great individual who can handle both external and internal relationships across the media and entertainment and cross functional teams.

The person in this role will work closely with global account leads on various global TV and streaming brands, helping our clients to navigate LATAM markets. This role will help build the Roku sales narrative in the region, advocating for our performance solutions that reach these new TV viewers across the entire funnel and drive maximum revenue with Roku's 1st party targeting, unique ad products, performance analytics and unified reporting. The ideal candidate has deep understanding of the local market, has worked in digital media and is familiar with the required dedication for multi-tasking duties in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate thrives on navigating ambiguity and solving new problems. He/she will join this growing team and report to the Global Account Development lead in the Media & Entertainment vertical of our advertising business.

This is a key hire for Roku and incredible opportunity for the right candidate looking to advance their career with a market leader in an explosive category.

What you'll be doing

  • Bring local market knowledge to our sales efforts, identifying the nuances that each market brings and how they will impact our strategy
  • Act as the local market expert for Roku global account leads and help grow in-market client/agency relationships in the Mexico region
  • Help build the local market sales narrative in the Mexico markets helping clients to navigate each market and understand what success looks like
  • Work with our centralized product team to gather local market insights and help curate our product suite, measurement solutions and reporting capabilities in the Mexico markets
  • Participate in sales calls and QBRs in partnership with global account leads

We're excited if you have

  • The equivalent of 3+ years of sales experience with buying models based on a CPV, CPCV, CPA, or CPC, either in a managed service or self-service environment focused on media and entertainment within the region
  • Demonstrated an ability to create relationships with internal collaborators across teams
  • An understanding of the dynamics of the OTT/SVOD/AVOD space and how Roku advertising solutions drive business goals for advertisers
  • An understanding of the digital advertising landscape and industry trends and apply a Roku POV for the organization
  • Fluency in the language of success behind performance marketing campaigns, including customer acquisition goals, retention, ROAS or cost-per-acquisition media buying
  • Located in Mexico, City with a proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
