About the role

Roku is looking for an outstanding Sr. FP&A Analyst to join the Account Acquisition FP&A team. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, Roku TV, this role will play a critical role in supporting the continued growth of the Roku TV business.

We are looking for an outstanding candidate to take on a variety of strategic, operational, and analytical projects to drive quality growth for our business. The candidate will be able to communicate effectively, manage multiple and time sensitive deliverables across a highly matrixed organization, along with managing risks and opportunities. The individual will also possess strong business partnership skills and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead planning across a breadth of functional areas, partnering with a wide range of leaders throughout the organization to position the business for future success
  • Identify issues, develop hypotheses, and execute in-depth analyses to translate data into insights and make recommendations to the Roku TV leadership team based on your findings
  • Support deal negotiations with key OEM partners and retailers
  • Maintain annual budget and long-range plan models; update as necessary to support ongoing forecast deliverables
  • Drive month/quarter-end close: prepare accruals, update OPEX models with Actuals and conduct variance analyses
  • Partner with budget owners to understand OPEX drivers and manage budget expectations
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting for Roku TV business partners
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and projects as needed

We’re excited if you have

  • BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar analytical discipline (e.g. Engineering, Math, Computer Science)
  • A minimum of 3 years of FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, business operations, or business analytics experience.
  • Ability to think across multiple dimensions of a business (sales, product, marketing etc.) and work cross-functionally to deliver results
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and maintain complex financial models; demonstrated proficiency with advanced functions (index, offsets, arrays, etc.)
  • Bias for action, with demonstrated ability to meet competing deadlines while managing multiple projects
  • Exceptional analytical skill, with a passion for metrics and data; ability to apply in order to influence and drive effective decision making
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator across multiple departments. Practices a service-oriented business partnering approach and excels in relationship building across the organization
  • Bonus Experience: Knowledge of SQL, Adaptive Insights, Netsuite, Looker, Python
