About the role

The world is cutting the cord and streaming its TV online, a shift that has dramatically changed how advertisers target, reach and measure their preferred audiences in ways that broadcast TV and cable never could. In this new world, Roku has re-written the rules of modern advertising and to continue to drive forward we need someone to build an ambitious narrative and agenda to engage senior marketers in the Automotive Industry. Lead engagement with teams including Research,Sales, and Product to design vertical go-to-market positioning including sales materials, account-based marketing campaigns, industry content & POVs, press, and events. Shaping product roadmap based on customer challenges and industry dynamics. Identify new business opportunities amongst current and prospective customers, and be the vertical expert and own end-to-end insights for strategic client and brand engagement . Identify go-to-market and thought leadership that drive conversation with advertisers through big idea thinking and also evangelize Roku at key vertical-specific/trade events and develop rapport and relationships to serve as key advisor.

We're excited if you have:

  • 5 +years’ of relevant experience as a marketer in the Automotive industry.
  • Rich understanding of the streaming, TV, digital, and programmatic advertising landscape and marketing challenges companies within the vertical are confronting.
  • Deep expertise crafting unforgettable storytelling with data, text, illustration, and can self-edit.
  • Eye for design and experience guiding the development of marketing materials including slides, reports, and web content.
  • Track record of measuring ROI and impact of marketing programs.
  • Collaborative nature & track record of being an invaluable resource to sales teams.
  • “No job is too big or too small” mentality -- you’re a long-term thinker & a short-term doer.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
