    Key Responsibilities:

    As the Tech Support (A&P Mechanic), you will perform a variety of duties, including, but not limited to servicing, operating, maintaining, repairing and removing equipment. You may conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to products in accordance with specific customer specifications. You will manage technical products, services logistics and provisioning, quantity surveying, and configurations to assigned customers.

    The Tech Support (A&P Mechanic) may also troubleshoot technical problems and issues, recommending actions to company or customer representatives while assessing product needs in accordance with customer specifications.

    You will proudly serve as local on-site RTX representative to the customer's organization, managing statements of work to meet customer and contract requirements. There is up to 20% travel for this role.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma and a minimum of 8+ years experience or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) and a minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience.
    • Airframe & Powerplant License
    • A minimum of 2+ years’ experience working as an A & P Mechanic
    • US Citizenship is required due to government contracts

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Shop/Bench refurbishment experience.
    • P&WC powered Airframe experience
    • A degree in Aviation Maintenance Management preferred.
    • Prior PW300, PW500, JT15D, and PT6 shop and field experience is a plus
    • Proven verbal and written communication skills.
    • Heavy hangar/FBO/field experience - rigging, R&I, MRP's, aircraft interface
    • Customer service skills.

    Pratt & Whitney [Bridgeport, WV] is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing as a pre-employment contingency and also subject to ongoing random testing as an employee per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
