We have an exciting remote opportunity for an Accounting Senior Manager with our Manufacturing Accounting Group.
What You Will Do:
Our Accounting Senior Manager will lead the the Pegging & Distribution Team supporting our Manufacturing Accounting Group reporting directly to our Director of Manufacturing Accounting.
Manufacturing Accounting is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate accumulation, distribution and output of manufacturing cost for Commercial and Military engines and spare parts.
This position will provide the opportunity to gain understanding of the complexities of large volume OEM operations cost accounting and compliance in a support of a growing business.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Analyze, resolve, document and oversee the resolution of pegging errors and exceptions including Undistributed, Mis distributed costs, Red lights Report, Stock Inconsistencies as needed, and exception WBS'.
Complete various closing responsibility tasks and costing analysis, including biannual review of notational inventory cost vs. actual cost for non-pegging plants.
Supervise and guide one employee, providing mentorship and managing daily tasks and performances.
Field costing related questions from the business including the analysis of pegging and costs movements.
Support and collaborate with Digital Technology to implement system enhancements and trouble shoot issues.
Annually review system access to SAP ZPD Tables, and transactions.
Support periodic audits performed by external auditors, RTX internal audit, P&W business controls and U.S. government audits; ensure timely closure of identified issues.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance and 10+ years prior relevant work experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 7+ years prior relevant work experience.
Strong SAP expertise with an understanding of pegging and distribution in a complex manufacturing or logistics environment.
US Citizenship required due to government contracts.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
