The Department 22 (D22) Hardware Engineering group is seeking an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead for the Advanced Radio Frequency (ARF) Electronics product area. The IPT Lead will manage a multi-disciplinary group of engineers through the design, integration, and test portion of a development program. The IPT Lead develops and administers budgets, schedules, and performance standards. Responsibilities include removing technical and programmatic barriers that impede program progress, and establishment of goals and priorities such that the technical team can successfully meet program objectives. Additional responsibilities include completing financial Estimate at Complete (EAC), program gate reviews, and facilitating independent peer reviews of all work products. He or she will also participate in new business activities including proposals, preparing bids, and developing basis of estimates.
The IPT Lead shall act independently, guided only by very broad company policies and objectives. The IPT Lead shall be able to apply advanced principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems. Solutions and risk reduction using Model Based engineering /Digital Engineer will be needed to meet schedule objectives. The ability to lead briefings and technical meetings for internal and external stakeholders will also be needed.
Required Skills:
8+ years of professional experience specifically participating in the design, development, and/or production of complex electronics subsystems.
3+ years of demonstrated project leadership including cost, schedule, and technical responsibility supporting complex electronics subsystems
Ability to obtain an active DoD Secret Clearance (or equivalent crossover)
U.S. Citizenship and ability to access to US only data systems
Earned Value / Control Account Manager Experience on multiple programs
Strong technical background is required to establish quantifiable backup data (QBDs) that accurately breaks down the design, integration, and prototype effort of an electronics subsystem
The ability to establish a hierarchical decomposition of work when flowed down a set of requirements such that a large effort can be effectively managed
Desired Skills:
Experience working on Agile Teams using JIRA
Experience in low volume / high complexity development environments
Knowledge of GitLab DevSecOps tools
Experience developing and maintaining complex integrated master schedules with period of performances that exceed one year
Experience with developing technical baselines and cost volumes in response to Request for Proposals from the government
Desired Security Clearance:
Ability to obtain higher levels of security clearance including special access
Required Education:
A Bachelor's degree in a STEM related discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
Requires advanced to expert knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
May have broad knowledge of project management. Requires substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or
systems in order to provide enhancements within job area. Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years
prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a
minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
