    This position is for an entry level Industrial Engineer who will join the Manufacturing support team at the Collins Aerospace Bellevue facility. Primary responsibility will be to support the lean manufacture of avionics electronics equipment on an alternate shift support (3rd shift with flexibility - possible hours 8pm - 4am) .     Primary Responsibilities:

    • Provide industrial engineering support to production build and testing of avionics electronics equipment.

    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and projects using the CORE methodology

    • Identify drivers of cost and propose alternative solutions for cost reductions.

    • Perform cost analysis and trade-offs.

    • Estimate costs and participate in preparation of proposals and presentations.

    • Perform moderate to advanced engineering economics principles and techniques and analyze and understand manufacturing cost impacts.

    • Ability to diagnose problems and recommend alternative solutions.

    • Knowledge of principles and techniques commonly used in electronics manufacturing.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

    • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
