    Raytheon Technologies' Supply Chain Logistics team is seeking a Logistics Analyst to serve as the Pack Team Group Lead in the Pack Ship department. Group Lead will support the Central Logistics, McKinney Pack Ship department using multiple parallel software applications to oversee packaging and shipping of product.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Ensure safe work practices, safety standards, and Job Hazard Analysis are being followed by employees and visitors to ensure the safety of all.

    Strategizing conflicting priorities to ensure all shipments meet Service Level Commitment

    Prioritize, distribute, and monitor daily shipments to be packed and shipped by the Pack team.

    Prepare a variety of written materials such as reports, metrics, and correspondence to government and program managers

    Ensure work areas are clean and organized

    Participate in the development and improvement of work instructions for the Pack Ship department

    Closely interface with supervisors, process leads, packers, shipping personnel, and internal Raytheon customers

    Coordinate and monitor workflow, assist in prioritizing activities in assigned areas to improve upon service level commitment

    Lead or assist with special projects for process improvements in the Pack Ship department

    Identify negative trends and partner with management to develop solutions for improvement

    Lead and attend meetings with Pack Ship Associates and Management teams to implement action plans and oversee accountability of assigned processes

    Required Skills: 

    At least 5 years of Supervisory packaging/packing-related or warehouse work experience

    Experience in a compliance-driven environment

    Ability to work additional hours and occasional Saturdays

    Ability to lift up to 28 lbs.

    Ability to establish and maintain positive employee labor relations utilizing clear communication to team members and thorough problem solving techniques

    Ability to draft documents required for operation of the business to include proper grammar, accurate math calculations and clear language that describes and/or directs action

    Ability to coordinate activities and communications with team members and other supervisors in the department

    Experience working within a diverse team environment

    Experience with Microsoft Office suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    Must be able to obtain 49CFR and IATA HAZMAT certifications

    This position requires a U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons

    U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Secret Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.

    Desired Skills: 

    General industry experience and understanding of protocol in a defense company, including work with Government Furnished Material

    Working knowledge of SAP, WAWF, and Defense Transportation Regulations

    Import/Export Compliance experience

    Ability to operate a crane and hoist for product packing and unpacking

    Excellent verbal, written, organizational and time management skills

    Possess a solid reputation for safety, professionalism, and ethical responsibility

    Excellent customer service and problem solving skills

    Education:

    Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.

    Requires theoretical knowledge typically obtained through University Degree. Limited to some knowledge of RTX organization.
