Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RI&S) seeks a Deputy Release Manager to join our team supporting the Air Operations Center Weapon Systems (AOC WS) Long-Term Modification and Sustainment (LTM&S) program. He/she will be on the Sustainment Engineering IPT managing integration upgrades across six functional teams ensuring progress is meeting customer expectations.
Working closely with the Release Manager, he/she will monitor, track, and coordinate baseline changes from the initiation to deployment and operational sell-off at each AOC. This is located on Langley AFB, Virginia.
Supports planners on status of Agile Release Events (AREs), analysis of efforts, and identification of blockers or dependencies. The position involves significant interaction with integration engineers, IPT Leads, sub-contracts, logistics, contracts, senior technical project leads, and other functional or support organizations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Release Manager in all aspects of product ownership.
This includes as assigned:
•Ensure executability of schedule baselines for the AOC LTM&S program.
•Gather, report, and analyze data across multiple IPTs on current status of Integration, Procurement, and Installation efforts.
•Identify, monitor, and analyze critical paths and generate Cross-Product Team reports with intent to break down blockers.
•Demonstrated use of Jira and tracking team progress, performs related analyses and generate metrics.
•Facilitate Integrated Master Schedule execution for both PC and Fielding teams.
•Provides data and reporting formats for all types and levels of program reviews. (PMR, OKR, Weekly and Monthly Reporting)
•Tracks associated deployment activities to include hardware/software purchases and coordinates with Logistics POCs on status of equipment arrival. Anticipates choke points and provides resolution.
Required Skills:
•An active and in-scope Secret U.S. security clearance
•Security+ or higher.
•Demonstrated planning/scheduling skills with ability to multitask and manage plans and schedules for multiple small to large projects in a cross-functional environment including critical path scheduling, related analyses, and metrics generation.
•Understand planning milestones, “major decision points,” spacing of events, identifying events to tie activities and the significance of accomplishments and criteria (achievable, objective, of interest to the customer, and contractual commitment).
•Team communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work independently, and proven to achieve results. Able coordinator of several teams working on multiple sub-projects simultaneously.
•Demonstrated effective communicator both verbal and written.
•Develop and update program metrics related to progress of the tracked events across multiple IPTs.
•Demonstrated competence in using tools for program planning including Microsoft Office tools, SharePoint, Integrated Master Schedule, and Jira.
Domestic and international travel may be required but expected travel is less than 10%.

Experience with:
•AOC and Production Center release planning.(ARE, PMUs, Fast Tracks, and CSUs).
•AOC Production Center ARE process.
•Scrum Master for small team updating and tracking status and backlog.
•Scheduling Fielding and Deployment planning and installation.
•Understanding of Government and AF procurement processes.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree with typically 5 years' of relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in related field and 3 years' of experience or 13 years' of relevant experience.
