The Associate Director, DE&I Talent Attraction leader will be a key contributor on the Corporate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team. The Associate Director, DE&I Talent Attraction role will serve as a critical partner to the Corporate and business unit Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Talent Acquisition teams and will design and deploy an impactful and integrated DE&I talent attraction strategy based on data analysis and extensive knowledge in diversity, equity, and inclusion and talent acquisition. The Diversity Talent Attraction Lead will develop strategies to increase the volume of skilled applicants and hires from underrepresented backgrounds.
Responsibilities:
•Design talent attraction programs and strategies to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. Develops, implements, and evaluates talent attraction programs focused on under-represented talent for all levels of the organization
•Partner with talent acquisition to assess talent acquisition funnel to assess areas of opportunity
•Research and recommend partnerships, events, and tools that deliver impact and support RTX recruiting strategies, specifically targeting under-represented talent
•Determine external talent attraction sources and serve as the relationship manager to include targeted partners, professional organizations, etc.
•Oversee workforce diversity conferences. In partnership with the RTX Senior Manager, External Partnerships, partner with businesses to develop cohesive recruitment strategy at national conferences; responsible for reporting out and sharing hiring metrics associated with workforce diversity conferences
•Responsible for overseeing RTX workforce diversity scholarship programs. Work to secure roles at RTX for candidates of scholarship programs; focus on pipeline management/internship & FT placement of talent engaged in DE&I focused scholarship programs (SHPE, SWE, Thurgood Marshall)
•Design and deploy HBCU engagement strategy in partnership with business Talent Acquisition leaders
•Manage current DE&I talent attraction partners (FairyGodBoss, MSEP, etc.); establish new partners as merited
•Serve as a strategic advisor/subject matter expert on diversity, equity, and inclusion in consultation with the Talent Acquisition team; sit on various working groups to integrate DE&I in broader talent acquisition strategies; participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives
•Stay abreast of DEI trends, developments, and best practices through partnerships with professional associations and diversity focused organizations
•Ensure change management and proper rollout of strategies and programming through project management and communications
•Develop metrics for measuring the effectiveness of corporate workforce diversity talent attraction initiatives.
•Establish and maintain meaningful relevant relationships with key cross-functional partners internally
•Compile & analyze data and metrics to support business decisions and plans
•Build and maintain productive internal/external relationships necessary to advance and support our DEI strategy, programs and initiatives
•In partnership with Talent Acquisition, Serve as the Program Lead for the Raytheon Technologies Re-Empower Program:
•Responsible for full program oversight of participants, managers, and critical internal stakeholders including recruiters, mentors, and HR business partners.
•Market and socialize the program, opportunities and success metrics to leadership. Analyze the success of the program on an ongoing basis
•Partner with corporate communications to continue to build the brand of the program externally via https://careers.rtx.com/global/en/re-empower-program, social media, etc.
•Design and execute program orientation and learning events throughout the 14-week program experience; provide oversight of programming for all rolling admission program hires
•Global expansion. Seek opportunity to continue to expand the program globally.
•Lead effort to continually refine program as necessary
Education:
University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience _or a_n Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
