Reporting to the Director of Global Data & Enterprise Architecture, the Associate Director of Enterprise Architecture will manage a global team to drive the strategic and technology roadmaps for Digital Technology at Pratt & Whitney. You will be responsible for creation and management of the strategic roadmap for the enterprise and ensure our digital solutions meet standards and strategic intent. Please note that this is a Remote role per the definition above.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead a global team of architects in defining the digital technology roadmaps for the enterprise.
  • Chair the architecture review board.
  • Enable customers and digital technology to foster a value-based strategic portfolio.
  • Lead creation of reference architectures and their distribution across the organization.
  • Advise customers and DT leadership on architecture practices and ways of thinking.
  • Mentor and guide employees in their architecture career.
  • Define and promote architecture methodology, process, deliverables, and templates.
  • Promote shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve information flow.
  • Ensure projects do not duplicate functionality and are aligned to business and DT strategies.
  • Direct or indirect involvement in the development of policies, standards and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation, and use of Information Technology within the enterprise.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Conversant in one or more technology domains.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • US citizenship or Canadian citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degrees preferred. Preferred fields include Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Engineering or Business Management.
  • 10+ years of architecture experience and/or technology infrastructure experience and/or IT leadership of technology within a corporate or manufacturing environment.
  • 5+ years leadership experience in Information/Digital Technology managing matrixed teams or as a lead architect of complex technical environments.
  • Ability to provide strategic technical leadership and lead by influence the creation of long-term strategic (e.g., more than 3 years) roadmaps in a virtual environment aligning and communicating with all levels of the business (senior executives leadership through end users).
  • Ability to communicate and influence multi-disciplinary teams developing strong partnerships across functions to drive measurable collaboration, consensus, and operational results.
  • Highly skilled at analyzing business process and seeing opportunities for digital solutions.
  • Experience in supplier management, Project Management, SDLC, Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Good communication skills, work ethic and a high level of personal integrity and accountability.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies & take on new projects to grow experience.
  • Highly self-directed and able to learn quickly with a solid ability to drive and deliver results.
  • Strong analytical skills, demonstrated organizational and leadership skills, examples of effective teamwork, a track record of consistently meeting deadlines and due dates.
  • You're comfortable working with minimal daily supervision and to balance numerous priorities.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, in a fast-paced environment of rapidly changing demands.
  • Knowledge and practical experience with an enterprise architecture framework (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman).

Le groupe des technologies numériques de Pratt & Whitney est à la recherche d’un chef d’équipe, Architecture de la cybersécurité motivé pour se joindre à notre organisation responsable de la cybersécurité et pour diriger une équipe de professionnels de l’architecture de la cybersécurité. 

Le titulaire de ce poste sera un leader reconnu capable de mener par la responsabilisation et l’influence, et de travailler avec des intervenants internes et externes de P&W et de Raytheon Technologies (RTX).

  • Soutenir la planification, l’assurance de la qualité de la sécurité, la conception architecturale et l’innovation pour les services de sécurité pour les environnements des entreprises Pratt & Whitney et RTX.
  • Soutenir les équipes de la sécurité et des solutions avec la conception architecturale et les recommandations techniques.

 Qualifications de base :

  • Baccalauréat (en sciences ou en administration) et 12 ans et plus d’expérience pertinente ou maîtrise et 10 ans et plus d’expérience pertinente.
  • Citoyenneté américaine/personne des États-Unis OU citoyenneté canadienne/personne du Canada.

  • Expérience dans la définition de politiques, de procédures et de normes informatiques, dans la mise en œuvre et dans le respect de celles-ci.    

  • Capacité prouvée à concevoir des systèmes de sécurité à l’échelle de l’entreprise, de les fabriquer et de les mettre en place pour un environnement de production.

  • Capacité à cerner les menaces actuelles ou émergentes pour la sécurité et à les communiquer. 

  • Capacité à concevoir des éléments d’architecture de sécurité pour atténuer les menaces alors qu’elles émergent.

  • Capacité de créer des solutions qui contrebalancent les exigences commerciales avec des exigences en matière de renseignements et de cybersécurité.

  • Antécédents avérés dans l’identification des écarts de la configuration de sécurité dans les architectures existantes et proposées et dans la recommandation de changements ou d’amélioration.

  • Mettre à profit et optimiser les solutions existantes d’entreprise afin de prendre les commandes de la normalisation et de la simplification en vue de réduire les échéanciers et les coûts liés à la mise en œuvre.

  • Être en mesure de communiquer et de présenter les exigences techniques et les solutions de manière efficace à tous les publics (c.-à-d., les clients, les experts techniques [SME] et les dirigeants de l’entreprise).

  • Compréhension de base des environnements technologiques de l’exploitation.

  • Certifications techniques :  CISSP, CSSLP, CEH, OSWE, GREM ou des certifications équivalentes sont souhaitées, mais ne sont pas obligatoires.

  • Certifications professionnelles : ITIL, Agile, PMP ou des certifications équivalentes sont un atout, mais ne sont pas obligatoires.
