Senior professional with significant experience in Supply Chain Management. Focuses on medium to long-term strategies to achieve business results. Establishes and implements critical functional strategies and operational plans for Supply Chain Management. Leads in the implementation of new supply chain management related programs and processes; Collaborates with other functions/vendors to support Supply Chain strategy.
It is strongly preferred that this is an onsite role and will be based at our Lenexa, KS facility. Hybrid/Remote candidates will be considered.
Develops a strategy for the Value Stream to ensure product is delivered to cost and quality expectations.
Develops and implements new products, processes, standards or operational plans that will have impact on the achievement of functional results.
Implements new supply chain management related programs and processes.
Identifies significant opportunities for outsourcing, cost reduction, and Supply Chain process improvements.
Develops cost saving opportunities; Provides market cost data to formulate the budget for the year.
Engages and collaborates with other functions/vendors to support Supply Chain strategy.
Establishes and implements elements of supply chain strategies and operational goals.
Leads in the implementation of new supply chain management related programs and processes; Collaborates with other functions/vendors to support Supply Chain strategy.
Recommends functional strategies and operational plans for outsourcing, cost reduction, and Supply Chain process improvements.
Implements cost saving opportunities; Analyzes market cost data to formulate the budget for the year.
Develops recommendations for implementing guidelines on contract development; Leads negotiations with vendors to optimize the procurement value.
Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience OR
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience OR
In absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience is required.
Prior Supply Chain Management experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment preferred.
Prior Senior Leadership experience preferred.
Strategic Sourcing background preferred.
