Our Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) experimentation and demonstration team is seeking a value stream leader (program manager) to lead a complex multi-disciplinary team executing experiments and demonstrations which leverage capabilities from across Collins Aerospace and third parties to solve DoD JADC2 problems. The role is highly visible and dynamic both internally and externally. Internally, the VSL will be managing a team from across all three mission systems portfolios as well as managing collaborative IR&D and execution from other Collins and Raytheon portfolios and regularly be responsible for interface with executive levels in the organization. Externally, the VSL will work with business development to manage customer expectations and messaging and ensure success in a fast-paced, high risk/high reward environment. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• The VSL will lead our team as it participates in large scale customer events such as Project Convergence and Northern Edge to experiment with capabilities in customer-relevant operational environments often at austere government test facilities. 

• We demonstrate a broad range of capabilities to include datalinks and radios, networking and gateway solutions, multi-level security solutions, multi-spectral sensors, autonomy and machine learning solutions, edge computing and a host of other capabilities.

• Due to the scale and complexity to coordinate the demonstrations, as well as the austere location of the experiments, significant travel is required for this role (~1/3 time).  

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience OR

• Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience OR

• In absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience is required

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.  Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements

• Proven ability to manage complex and multiple third party and government entities to a common ground is essential

• Proven ability to coordinate a multi-disciplinary team across engineering and business development is required

• The Preferred location(s) for this role are in Cedar Rapids, IA or Westford, MA.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Collins Mission Systems technical capabilities is desired but not required

• Prior experience with demonstration and experimentation is strongly desired
