    This position is 4th Shift: 3 x 12 (Fri-Sun) 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

    Summary: Process and prepare aerospace super alloy powder within the confines of an environmentally controlled and isolated area. This process requires attention to detail as precise measurements, procedures and techniques are essential to ensuring product conformity.  This is an entry level position.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Must follow directions precisely to ensure accuracy
    • Understanding of Basic powder sizing theory (training provided)
    • Adherence to Quality Clean Room procedures is imperative
    • Adhere to ACE guidelines (Lean manufacturing principles) and perform ACE duties as required
    • Adhere to all environmental, health and safety (EH & S) guidelines, including personal protective equipment
    • Must be able to work in a team environment
    • May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one’s skills
    • Perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
    • Strong team communication skills
    • Basic hoist and rigging operation skillset
    • Operate power industrial vehicles (PIV’s) forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts etc.
    • Physically capable of wearing a tight-fitting half mask respirator
    • Ability to operate basic hand tools
    • Must follow written work instructions

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Must have a High school Diploma or GED
    • Must be a US Citizen due to federal contracts
    • Must be comfortable working from heights while utilizing fall protection equipment
    • Must be physically capable of lifting 25 pounds independently or 50 pounds with help.
    • Bending, lifting, squatting, twisting, overhead reaching, standing on feet for long period of time – up to 8 hours.​

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 1+ years in Aerospace Manufacturing.

This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

    Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
