    Summary of Responsibilities: 

    The principle duties of this position are to operate and set-up all conventional types of machine shop equipment and read and interpret complex work instructions and blue prints.  Excellent interpersonal, planning and organizational skills are needed for a team oriented work environment.

    Essential Functions:

    • Turbine Engine Component Repair – Perform machinist duties to accomplish repairs to engine components and accessories using machine shop equipment such as VTL’s, Grinders, Mills, Lathes both manual and CNC. 
    • Inspection – Inspect accessories and component parts to determine serviceability and reparability.
    • Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S and continuous improvement programs by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training, and supporting all applicable committee activities.

    Knowledge, Skills and Required Abilities (Experience/Qualifications)

    • Ability to utilize precision measuring instruments (Verneer calipers, micrometers, etc.)
    • Previous work experience in jet engine overhaul preferred
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Must be willing to work all shifts

    • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
