The CFO for Military Engines Sustainment Operations will have financial oversight over all aspects of sustainment operations including overhaul depots at Tinker Air Force base and the international depots.

This position will report to the Vice President Finance, Military Engine Programs.

Travel:  10-15% to Oklahoma City and West Palm Beach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the senior program management teams to align PW and ME financial targets across the portfolio, including management of forecasts and long-range plan activities
  • Drive strong financial processes and system design in the standup of domestic and international depots
  • Manage and develop a team of ~15 which includes the Oklahoma City based finance team and the F135 international finance operations team. Ensuring that the proper organization design and finance resources are in place to support the program as the program continues to grow/evolve
  • Ensure all planning and reporting requirements are met for the other HMC programs - F100, F117 and F119
  • Ensure internal financial controls are established and the program complies with US GAAP, SOX, CAS, and all international legal and statutory requirements.
  • Effectively communicate financial results and trends to senior management.  Recommend appropriate course of action when results vary from forecast
  • Foster a continuous improvement culture. Drive improvements to standard work across the organization
  • Lead OKC 2023 planning and implementation activities.

Location:  Remote

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • US Citizenship required due to government contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Sustainment/MRO operations and/or U.S. Government Contracting.
  • Knowledge of key requirements, practices, and terms and conditions relating to the sale of products paid for by the Government including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
  • SAP and HFM knowledge, excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and foster a collaborative environment with all stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a data driven, fast-paced, ambiguous, and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience with international offset programs.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills with ability to derive insights from data analysis.
  • Self-directed and resourceful with the ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated talent development.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
  • Integrity, reliability, initiative, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
