Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Chief Product Owner/Agilist to join our CAMS Hardware Engineering Organization in Marlborough, MA or Largo, FL.

The ideal candidate can work in a multidisciplined Agile DevOps environment, has prior program leadership in Agile or traditional waterfall development program, and has experience overseeing hardware development or Agile programs with hardware development efforts. This role interfaces with program leadership including the Program Manager, Chief Engineer, Product Owner, Scrum Master, finance, senior leadership, and the customer.

• Lead the Agile development activities for programs in the Protected Communications Systems (PCS) product line within CAMS
• Mentor the program Product Owners (PO), Scrum Masters (SM) and team members in the Agile-scrum development process
• Enable the team to succeed in an Agile development environment throughout the lifecycle of the program

You’re highly skilled in:

• 10+ years of professional experience
• Experience overseeing Hardware development or Agile programs with Hardware development efforts
• Expert in the management of Agile projects including scrum
• Experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Chief Agilist
• Demonstrated interest and success in improving Agile execution
• Exceptional analytical abilities, critical thinking, and creative problem solving
• Proven written and oral communication skills including senior leadership presentation
• Experience with the application of program execution metrics as well as project management approaches and tools
• Experience using Agile methods for custom hardware or embedded software development
• Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret clearance
• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)

• Practical knowledge of Agile in government contracting environments
• Practical knowledge of DevSecOps in government contracting environments
• Experience performing engineering cost estimation
• Certification as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, or Scaled Agile Frameworks
• Active Secret clearance
