Configuration Manager

Raytheon is looking for an experienced Configuration Manager to work as part of a shared resource for multiple development teams. The successful candidate will be expected to perform for following duties:

Use Configuration Management tools and practices to develop and maintain the infrastructure to support a code and software identification strategy.

Track configuration changes and coordinate development of Engineering Change Proposals Design and implement semantic versioning of the build products.

Develop and maintain the baseline promotion process and align to successful testing performed within the pipeline Integrate change management workflows with the version control repository to support end-to-end traceability of authorized changes to source codeDevelop and maintain automated configuration status accounting reports describing build content and defect status

Design and implement automated configuration audits administer the infrastructure and source code repositories.

Develop and maintain automated scripts to perform builds and deployments.

Required Skills:

Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, software configuration management, or systems administration

Minimum 5 years of experience with a version control repository such as BitBucket, Jira, GIT, Artifactory, IBM Rational ClearCase, Subversion, or Azure DevOps (Team Foundation Server)

Software defect workflow administration and management

Independently work to achieve individual task completion in support of team goals and program objectives

Excellent communication skills

Desired Skills:

Experience in Lean Six Sigma

Infrastructure as code configuration management

Experience with software development in Cloud-based and virtual environments

COTS/FOSS Configuration Management

Atlassian Tool Suite, PERL, Python, ANT, Gradle, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible.

Requires advanced to expert knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

May have broad knowledge of project management. Requires substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or

systems in order to provide enhancements within job area. Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years

prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience

Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a

minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
