Job Summary:
Our Security Manager for special programs is seeking a Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO) to support our Woburn, MA facility. Relocation is available, see below for other benefit offerings.
The CPSO is responsible for the adherence to all aspects of the Special Access Program (SAP) & Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security Compliance Programs as stipulated by DoD 5205.07 and other program security directives.
SAP/SCI Security personnel interface with customers and the government on security requirements for special programs as well as providing guidance and support to employees working on such activities.
As a CPSO, you will use your strong working knowledge of the Special Program Security Core Functional Areas (such as Security Management, Personnel Security, Accountability, Information Security, Physical Security, Access Control, Transmission, Security Education, Contracting, and Guard Force responsibilities) on a regular basis.
Additionally, the CPSO will brief & indoctrinate program personnel on the proper application of security procedures, interpret and provide classification guidance to employees, participate in self-inspections as well as customer reviews, and investigate security incidents. Furthermore, the CPSO will support other security related tasks as assigned by the Special Programs Security Manager.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Administer security procedures (NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705), as they relate to operating in a classified environment.
Develop, prepare, and implement local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Operations Security (OPSEC) Plans, and proprietary test plans utilizing risk management principles.
Implement a media control program in accordance with Physical & JSIG requirements.
Provide security oversight and management to subcontractors and subordinate business units via the DD Form 254 or other contractual methods.
Establish, gain accreditation, and maintain a secure facility in accordance with ICD 705.
Establish and oversee specialized procedures for the transmission of classified and/or proprietary material/information.
Establish and maintain a visitor control program.
Conduct and/or participate in internal reviews and/or Government inspections.
Investigate security infractions/violations and prepare reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise and the associated risk to the program(s).
This position may require travel on company business (must possess a valid driver’s license for escorting individuals across business locations).
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, STEM, or Business—other degrees may be considered and five (5) years of relevant experience, as described below. In absence of a degree, nine (9) relevant experience as described below.
An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for 2 additional years of experience.
Past experience working with the DoD Manual 5205.07 Vols. 1- 4, Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) manuals, and/or DISS, JADE, or JADS user experience
Top Secret Control Officer experience ex: receipt, dispatch, transmission, accountability and/or inventory of TS material within a program or portfolio.
Experience with self-assessments and formal customer inspections
An active and in-scope (not older than 6 years) Top Secret US security clearance
Qualifications We Value:

Available to work flexible or extended hours during surge periods that may require related travel (proposals, hand carry, etc.)
