    Job Summary:
    Raytheon Contracts is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead and support Maneuver program agreements in the Precision Fires and Maneuver (PF&M) Product Area. The Maneuver area supports a wide range of emerging programs including the Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle (OMFV) effort.  The OMFV is a U.S. Army program to replace the M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle and is one part of the Next Generation Combat Vehicle (NGCV) portfolio of programs. This position provides visibility and interaction with various levels of management and is based remotely with some domestic travel required. 
     
    The successful candidate will be the lead Contracts person for all Maneuvers agreements, requiring close coordination with the functional program team. The ideal candidate possesses skills and strengths in contract management, finance, and program management. The selected candidate will provide innovative solutions to management based on contractual rights, obligations and risk mitigation across production and development.

    Responsibilities to Anticipate:

    • Participate in complex change management
    • Provide customer engagement and collaboration
    • Work on Request for Proposal (RFP) assessment, proposal strategy, planning, and negotiation for follow on fiscal year Engineering Services and Production proposals and awards
    • Engage in contract administration 

     

     
    Qualifications You Must Have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field, An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for 3 additional years of experience.
    • 8 years of experience in contract administration
    • Department of Defense contract experience
    • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required." U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance,

     
    Qualifications We Value:

    • Existing DoD Secret Clearance
    • Experience with proposal preparation and contract negotiation
    • Experience managing production, development or service contracts valued at $50M or higher
    • Experience in Earned Value Management System
    • Experience with multiple contract types and vehicles including OTAs, IDIQ, FPIF, FFP, CPIF, and CPFF
    • Experience on how Offset Management impacts DoD Contract Pricing
    • Experience in Direct Commercial Sales
    • Demonstrated experience working in a matrix environment
    • JD and MBA a plus
    • A proven track record of success in domestic contracting including terms and conditions, FAR/DFARS, employing policies and procedures, and Risk Mitigation
    • Strong demonstrated ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, mission critical environment
    • Computer proficiency - Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and shared databases
