Summary:

The Control Account Manager is responsible for the planning, reporting and execution of contracted scopes of work assigned to the F135 Industrial Management team. Responsibilities may include serving as an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Control Account Manager (CAM) for labor or production hardware accounts. 

The Control Account Manager also operates as a leader within the organization.  Leadership responsibilities include:  creating or improving standard work, leading and supporting process improvement initiates, helping onboard, mentoring and developing new hires once trained and proficient.

As an individual contributor with account responsibility, the Control Account Manager interfaces with the CIPT’s, Manufacturing Operations, and Supply Chain to manage the F135 production hardware budgets to meet cost and schedule requirements. The CAM assesses progress and work remaining for assigned accounts, prepares an estimate at completion (EAC), evaluates variances, and recommends appropriate corrective actions utilizing EVMS / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tools within the required monthly business cycle requirements. Upon contract award, the CAM establishes baseline budgets for production engines, working with EV analysts and Program Management.

Responsibilities:

•Participates in critical program communication meetings such as the Monthly Program Review (MPR) and EAC Reviews to communicate issues / changes / risks / opportunities, as well as other budget reviews, Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and Review for Cause (RFC) audits.

•Will be expected to drive continuous improvement in the application of EV/IMS tools and processes by reporting turnback’s and by investigating root cause and identifying corrective actions.

•Will create a new hire onboarding program

•Will mentor and develop new hires, train team members, peer review and provide feedback to team members.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Program Management Disciplines and minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Operations Management, or Program Management Disciplines

•Extraordinary teammate with good interpersonal skills.

•Self-motivated and detailed task oriented.

•Ability to work independently with little direct supervisory input or direction.

Preferred Qualifications:

•Validated knowledge of EVMS and reporting requirements is a plus but not required.

•Production hardware earned value account experience

•Operations or procurement experience
