(WSMR) Leadership and the CLS Radar team. As seven newly built THAAD Radars arrive from production, they will be emplaced, tested, integrated, and maintained by newly develop CLS Radar teams that will eventually deploy. While also supporting as technical support to the CLS Radar Team, the selected candidate will provide hardware and software knowledge as well as the coordination of site Acceptance Testing and Integration. The CONUS CLS Manager will also schedule and coordinate planning in collaboration with the CLS Radar teams through completion of test efforts as well as support close out of DD-250 activities on site after each radar deploys. Additional tasks between Radar test events will include cleanup, disposition of hazmat, the shipment of parts. Responsibilities also include completing inventories of the CONUS site location, tools, and equipment as well as preparation, planning coordination and receipt of the next arriving THAAD Radar.
The selected candidate will be based out of El Paso, TX and is expected to report to WSMR, NM daily.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Monitor diagnostics to evaluate the functionality of the radar and its components during test.
Assist the CLS Radar Teams with fault isolation and localization of radar malfunctions.
Oversee PMCS on radar system and other site equipment, as required.
Supervise required radar system logistics support functions, when needed.
Ensure accurate and timely Activity Log Reports and Inspection Test Record (ITRs) are completed.
Review all radar operation and maintenance activities and provides recommendations to KSA THAAD Program Leadership, White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) Leadership and the CLS Radar teams.
Perform independent assessments, audits, and special inspections of site activities associated with the radar system as required.
Schedule and plan for installation of Change Notifications (CNs) and other significant maintenance events required to drive test through DD-250
ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED.
At least six years' experience in the troubleshooting and operational checkout of AN/TPY-2 systems.
Documented experience in the planning, production, and management of complex systems
Documented experience in leading a team (including members from engineering, operations, integrated supply chain, and/or quality).
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements.
Self-starter - proactive in determining goals and objectives and pursuing the necessary course of action.
Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to lead by influence and collaboration.
Education: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in STEM Discipline but relevant work and/or military experience may be used in lieu of degree.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
