    Job Summary:

    Our cybersecurity team in is seeking a **Cybersecurity Infrastructure & Tooling Specialist (**known as a Principal Specialist, Cybersecurity Control within RMD).  The Cybersecurity Infrastructure & Tooling Specialist will support classified computing environments 100% onsite at the RMD facility in Tewksbury, MA, or Tucson, AZ. Relocation support is available, see below for further details regarding what we offer.

    The successful candidate will support the design, configuration, and maintenance of cybersecurity infrastructure which hosts enterprise cybersecurity services for the RTX enterprise Wide Area Network (eWAN). In addition, you will partner with cyber architecture teams to support design and development of cyber infrastructure, including the support of new service delivery models and system scaling.

    Responsibilities to Anticipate:

    • Implementing, configuring, and maintaining cybersecurity infrastructure and tooling
    • Monitoring security systems and tools for availability, configuration, and optimum performance. Examples include distributed Splunk and Tenable systems, syslog servers, security tool agents, etc.
    • Identifying control gaps and proposed system additions or changes
    • Collaborating with cybersecurity designers to design/implement security tools and infrastructure
    • Proposing new or innovative methods to use existing tools and data to prevent or detect advanced attacks
    • Identifying the impact of budget or policy decisions on the security posture of the environment

    Important note: Within six months of hire date, you must obtain and maintain a Security professional certification commensurate with IAM Level II certification, if you do not already have this certification.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, STEM, Business and other degrees will be considered with five (5) years of experience, as described below.
    • An advanced degree and three (3) years of experience, as described below
    • An Associate’s Degree and seven (7) years of experience, as described below
    • In absence of degree requires nine (9) years of experience, as described below
    • Work experience with any combination of the following:
      • cybersecurity, network security, system architecture, system hardening, auditing/compliance tools and methods, Information Technology, systems security engineering, systems security or tool monitoring, and/or cyber infrastructure or tooling
    • Experience supporting cybersecurity compliance as stipulated by any combination of the following:
      • The National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manuals, Risk Management Framework (RMF), Intelligence Community Directive (ICD-503), Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG), Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), associated National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
    • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.  U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

    Qualifications We Value:

    • Experience working in DoD classified operating and/or laboratory environments
    • Experience implementing, configuring, administering, and troubleshooting various information system security tools that address real-time monitoring (SIEM solutions), vulnerability analysis and remediation, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP). These may include Splunk, Forcepoint, Ivanti, Tenable, ACAS, HBSS, etc.
    • Familiarity with implementation of Government directives and policies derived from NIST, CNSSI, DoD, or other Government Regulatory compliance standards within a professional industry
    • Experience in the execution of the Assessment & Authorization processes, as defined within the Risk Managed Framework (RMF)
    • Experience providing technical security consultation for complex, cross-domain, heterogeneous classified networked environments in collaboration with internal/external Customers and Information Technology (IT)
    • Familiarity with large multi-facility networks including diverse and complex components, including (but not limited to) Windows and Linux environments
    • Experience interpreting, implementing, and assessing DISA STIGs.
    • Familiarity with the execution and management of cyber incident response; preservation, containment, and eradication
