    The position will work within the Enterprise Capacity team where we have responsibility for ensuring industrial capacity insights are generated in accordance with standard work to support the entire value stream of operations (P&W Purchase, P&W Make, and Partnerships). This is done to ensure our producer base is prepared to support P&W’s demand in the future. The position will support P&W industrial needs to move to a more digital, and connected operation.

    This is a remote position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Utilize digital applications such as SAP, Qlik, POWER BI and our internally developed Capacity Portal to create capacity risk analytics for internal requests for information.
    • Create custom analytics in a Qlik environment to help industrial teams identify risk across their capacity planning systems.
    • Create database connections between applications such as SAP, Solumina, Apriso, and custom built.
    • Leverage our existing processes, tools and methods to identify part, supplier or operations level risks for specific programs and communicate the identified risks to the appropriate internal customers.
    • Provide guidance to users inputting data regarding data quality and data integrity
    • Work with our Digital Technology teams to ensure compliance to standard processes

    Expected competencies:

    • Be a creative problem-solver, and exhibit leadership through direct and indirect means. You must have both a desire and an ability to create value for our internal customers in ways that may not currently exist.
    • Ability to organize, analyze and communicate complex data sets.
    • Develop/author and present senior level presentations, and lead output communication meetings.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, data analytics, computer science or a related discipline
    • 7+ years of experience in data analytics, database development, industrial engineering, or a related field.
    • Proficient and experienced using SQL
    • US Citizenship is required due to government programs

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience using Java, Python, Visual Basic
    • AGILE training
    • Advanced data analytics using software applications beyond MS Office suite
