In anticipation of an upcoming contract award, RI&S is posting this opportunity

Raytheon Technologies is seeking experienced data visualization specialist to join our diverse team who can collect and analyze data from multiple databases and sources to create visualizations to assist and convey insights on worldwide national security events in an intuitive, informative, and compelling way to decision makers.

Key responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will be responsible for the correlation, design and development of compelling data visualizations collected from various sources and databases via a variety of techniques to be presented in a written and oral methods to all levels of customer management.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Experience in collection and analyzing large data sets to render different perspectives/views and graphical representations

• Transforming data sets, quantitative and qualitative analysis into compelling visuals that help inform decision making

• Experience in conceptualizing and preparing analytic graphics for written products

• Advanced knowledge of Tableau Desktop content creation

• Excellent visual skills, including demonstrable design knowledge, such as layout, typography, color, and interaction design

• Familiarity with the customer’s report writing standards and databases

• Knowledge of and experience in the fundamentals of all-source intelligence analysis 

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

• Ability to work in a dynamic environment, juggling concurrent tasks and meeting deadlines

Desired Skills:

• Prior experience working on and providing visualization/graphic design support for national intelligence agencies and /or DOD finished written products

• Proficiency with software and databases used in support of research and analysis for the U.S. Government

• Working experience on data modeling and data integration using databases like SQL Server and Oracle.

• A firm understanding of the communications environment and technology trends of foreign targets

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, data analytics, mathematics, engineering or equivalent and Five (5) years of directly related experience.

Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance with poly and be crossover eligible.
