Datacenter Measurement & Reporting Manager

The role of the Measurement and Reporting Manager is to support good decision-making and continual improvement by decreasing the levels of uncertainty. This role is responsible for the development of a metric and reporting framework, collection of relevant data on various managed objects and the valid assessment of this data in an appropriate context as it pertains to the RTX Private Cloud Data Center. This role manages objects that include, but are not limited to, products and services, practices and value chain activities, teams and individuals, suppliers and partners, and the organization as a whole.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and document measurement requirements from RTX IT groups .
• Align on measurement and reporting with RTX ITSM practice managers.
• Align on measurement and reporting with MSP.
• Develop metrics and measurement framework and methods.
• Develop and maintain KPI scorecards.
• Ensure measurements are driven by objectives.
• Design report templates and reporting policy.
• Gain agreement with stakeholders on what to measure and report.
• Develop and coordinate data gathering and processing.
• Ensure quality and availability of measurement data.
• Conduct data analysis and reporting activities.
• Participate in Continual Improvement teams to facilitate decision making.
• Document the objectives and work flows.
• Continually improve the effectiveness and efficiency of reporting to stakeholders in support of good decision making.

Experience/Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in IT Service Management in a global IT environment.
• Practical knowledge of IT Service Management practices like Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request
• 3+ years of relevant IT infrastructure experience
• Experience working with external managed service providers
• Exposure to IT application development
• ITIL knowledge (Foundation Certification v3 or 4)
• Demonstrable experience with analysis and reporting tools
• Demonstrable ability to perform effectively in a global and matrix organization
• Strong communication, planning, analytical, and organizational skills
• Self-confidence, assertiveness, and commitment
• A highly motivated person focusing on personal development, including strong organizational, generational, and national cultural awareness

Education: 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business information management security or equivalent qualification

Location:

• Remote Work Available, Future Travel 20%
