The Power and Controls Electric Power Systems team is currently seeking a highly motivated, organized leader to join our team working in a hands-on, collaborative environment to work with international and domestic contracts.

The Demand Contracts Manager is responsible for team training, career development, coordinating and completion of actions, providing instruction and guidance, while forecasting the demand for products in terms of product mix to drive supply chain activities.

This position is located in Rockford, IL and the opportunity to work remotely will be considered.

If remote, need to have the ability to travel to work with the team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manages a regular forecasting process at both the detail and aggregated program/customer level.
• Ensure customer contractual requirements regarding demand and order execution are appropriately executed.
• Manage customer demand, analyze trends, manage forecast tools, and maintain accurate data.
• Timely communication of demand information to all stakeholders using the appropriate communication method
• Consult with functional teams such as master scheduling, value stream leader, operations, finance, and business development (if applicable) to obtain relevant data and insights on demand.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to influence the demand on the supply chain and prioritize demand for order fulfillment based on business objectives and customer segmentation.
• Participate as the demand owner/representative in an organization’s sales and operations planning process, to enable demand-supply balancing analysis.
• Develop and maintain demand planning and forecasting assumptions, analysis, and decisions.
• Provide clear and concise recommendations to upper-level management on information regarding future trends and demands.
• Prepare reports and statistics related to the demand planning and forecasting function.
• Develop and measure key performance indicators to track and evaluate forecasts made, to assist in assessing the effectiveness of the demand planning & forecasting function, and to work towards continuous improvement.
• Support business, marketing, inventory or production strategies, and organizational / supply chain improvement opportunities to meet market needs.
• Review and assess risk to supply and demand variability and identify opportunities to manage and mitigate risk.
• Ensures data integrity and quality by reviewing data, identifying unusual occurrences, seeking explanations, and assisting in developing corrections to prevent reoccurrences.
• Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with all stakeholders.
• Knowledgeable and accountable for entire teams’ programs and demand
• Perform and/or direct day to day administrative tasks.

Basic Qualifications:

• Typically requires University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Leadership and management experience

• Customer facing interactions on PO’s

• Experience with contracts or supply chain

• SAP experience

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
