    Position summary

    ur Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability.

    What You Will Do:
    As a Depot Engineer you'll work closely with the Depot team at the Raytheon Chambersburg facility in updating equipment as well as providing training on upgrading equipment as well as providing new test system solutions.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Coordinating engineering support for missile operations and test to assure production line throughput

    • Proposing changes to Depot hardware and software based upon obsolescence, upgrades or updates to factory test equipment and procedures

    • Maintaining configuration at the Depots as required by approved changes to the hardware/software associated with the system and test equipment

    • Updating, validating and distributing Depot operational procedures as program needs and system changes require

    • Providing training for Depot personnel on upgraded equipment and modifying Depot equipment and software as a result of approved Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)

    • Working with other directorates on providing new test system solutions.

    This position is an ONSITE role based in Chambersburg, PA.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    • Typically Requires: Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM). Electrical Engineering degree preferred. Less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.

    • Experience working with electronic assemblies and troubleshooting equipment in a military or civilian environment.

    • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

    Qualifications We Prefer:

    • Experience with National instruments LabView or LabWindows software packages, PXI, myDAQ, Compact RIO, or myRIO hardware.

    • Experience with C/C+ software programing languages

    • Experience with Autodesk inventor, analog RF testing, digital signal processing, power electronics, FPGA, and RF Antenna

    • Experience with System assembly, disassembly and test

    • Electrical Engineering experience

    • Active DoD Secret Clearance

    The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
