The Product Delivery Center (PDC) is seeking a highly energetic second shift (2nd shift) Deputy Operations Manager. The 2nd shift team is responsible for the assembly and test operations while achieving all financial, quality, EHS, ITC, productivity and delivery goals. This position works closely with all flow lines and engine test, while ensuring the support functions Quality, Engineering, Materials are aligned with all assembly and test objectives to meet production and delivery requirements. This role will be expected to promote a work environment which encourages engagement and empowerment at all levels. This is a challenging and highly visible role in the Product Delivery Center, interfacing with Operations Executive Leadership. This candidate will also serve as the primary interface with Engine Center support team (Process planning, Quality, Materials) in addition to the FSL onsite and the New England Logistics Center (NELC) to ensure seamless production throughout the evening. They are accountable for the execution of the assembly and test plans, managing staffing to the standard work, participating in CORE and lean events, supporting RRCA activities, fostering employee engagement and driving world class EHS culture.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with engine assembly and engine test, a high degree of judgment in analysis of service and engineering data, strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-directed with ability to manage and troubleshoot complex situations and issues
  • Must be flexible, have a focus on meeting customer needs, and have the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Requires a Bachelors Degree and 8+ years relevant experience; OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and 5+ years experience
  • US Citizenship is required due to government contracts
