Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide variety of inspection duties relating to the overhaul and repair of all P&WC engine components and assemblies. 
• Perform visual inspection of engine components or modules to determine serviceability, along with reading and interrupting service bulletins, shop manuals and engineering documentation.
• Have a strong understanding of workflow and material movements in SAP, which includes in process exchanges and the spacer cabinet. 
• Functions include ensuring standard work and best practices are accomplished while assuring daily targets are met.
• The team member must be fully engaged to support all Core, Quality, EH&S, and overall Operations initiatives and policies to meet companies’ goals.
• Perform other related duties as assigned and refer team challenges to Supervisor.  

Basic Qualifications:

• Power Plant License or ability to obtain within 90 days of start date
• https://U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
• HS Diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of Component repair processes
• Strong organizational skills
• SAP Workbench experience

Additional Information:

• Pratt & Whitney in Bridgeport, WV is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the https://U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
