    Job Summary:

    Raytheon Missiles & Defense has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Technology (DT) Program Lead in support of support of the Air Power Mission Area Programs. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for providing leadership and management of DT needs in Tucson**, AZ** and across multiple distributed sites. This role will require the individual to be based in Tucson, AZ and cover other locations as needed. This position may require the ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

    Responsibilities to Anticipate:

    Ensuring that DT scope is properly executed in accordance with performance standards, leveraging thought leadership, innovative solutions, and cost savings initiatives.

    They will partner with engineering and proposal/program management to capture functional requirements, translate requirements into program environment planning and execution plans, and manage changes in scope and function of the development and collaborative environments over the lifecycle of the program.

    You will use your strong background in supporting proposals/programs through your experience in Project Management, Integrated Product Development System (IPDS), Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Control Account Manager (CAM) methodologies.

    Oversight and monitoring of cost, schedules, and performance of DT tasks, which will include task planning and scheduling, EV reporting and variance analysis.

    The candidate will work closely across multi-functional teams comprised of Engineering, Security, Manufacturing, Integrated Supply Chain management as well as senior Program and DT leadership on program status and will require influence across multiple Functional Areas

    The successful candidate will champion and document unique technical solutions for use across the broader Raytheon DT community.

    The candidate must effectively communicate with both internal and external Customers at strategic and tactical leadership levels regarding technical issues, project status and contractual deliverables.

    Proactively participate in pre-proposal and proposal process by strategizing with IPT/CPT, deciphering DT requirements in Statement of Work (SOW), and providing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for future business opportunities and pursuits

    Daily tasking and oversight of the team that provides the design and operation of the software development, software integration, software/system requirements, and continuous access of the DT environment.

    Fill the role as the CAM for the DT budget including oversight and monitoring of costs, schedules, and performance of DT tasks. Manage and direct the daily execution of the contract's DT requirements to assure performance goals.

    Formally identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate DT related risk and dependencies throughout the proposal/program lifecycle.

    Lead DT and Program related projects through development and implementation utilizing project planning, team building, recurring task management, and formal presentations to leadership through completion.

    Support preparation and/or presentation of weekly/monthly program reviews, Proposal Bid Reviews, EAC, AOP, and Capital Planning.

    Support IPDS Gate reviews as applicable, including Independent Reviews

    Providing comprehensive program support for all DT issues through a broad knowledge of DT services and capabilities

    Directing the efficient use of DT personnel and resources to advance Agile teams and initiatives.

    Assisting with debugging test platforms and Information Systems (IS) to eliminate technical bottlenecks.

    Facilitating technical collaboration with 3rd parties (e.g., suppliers) to simplify and accelerate procurement, licensing, and problem resolution for provided tools and equipment.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, MIS, Engineering, Math or a directly related discipline and 8 years of directly related experience or a master’s degree in IT, MIS Engineering Math or STEM directly related discipline and 5 years of direct experience or an associate degree adn10 years of directly relate experience.  

    Must have an active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

    Must have 8+ years’ overall Information Technology and/or Software/Systems Engineering experience.

    Must have experience project management such as Risk & Opportunity management, CAM, and performance tracking/management experience.

    Qualifications We Value:

    High level working knowledge of Software development, Systems integration, and test processes to support activities across the program life cycle.

    Familiar with DevSecOps methodologies

    High level working knowledge of Software development (Agile/Scrum), Systems integration, and test processes to support activities across the program life cycle.

    Experience with the Integrated Product Development System (IPDS)

    Effective presence and influential leadership capability with the ability to interact with senior levels of leadership – including Customer, teammates, and suppliers.

    Working experience within Software and/or Systems Engineering

    Excellent verbal and written skills

    Experience working in a program and/or engineering environment. Previous Global Program support desired Demonstrated experience in Business Case Analysis and Return on Investment (ROI)

    Through strong organization skills, demonstrate solid problem-solving skills in anticipating and analyzing needs as well as quickly identifying solutions.

    Knowledgeable of Contracts, SOWs, BOEs, DT and Engineering (SW & Systems) Processes and Practices

    •Working knowledge of software development, systems integration, and test processes to support activities across the program life cycle

    •PMP and/or PMX/CMX Certification
