    The following position is to join RTX Corporate, Global Communications:

    The Director, Employee Engagement, Global Trade role will lead the strategy, development, execution and measurement of global enterprise employee communications for Global Trade. This leader will play an integral role in ensuring strategic communication is activated to support RTX Global Trade program objective to meet its obligations under the U.S. Department of State Consent Agreement.

    What You Will Do

    • Leads the strategy, development, execution and measurement of global enterprise employee communications for RTX Global Trade.

    • Provides senior level communications strategy and coordination for issues management in conjunction with PR & Public Affairs related to RTX's Consent Agreement.

    • Represents communications function on the RTX Global Trade PMO.

    • Develops enterprise messages for initiatives focused on increasing employee understanding of Global Trade rules and regulations.

    • Provides executive communications counsel to RTX Global Trade PMO VP and coordinates cross-enterprise SLT communication reinforcing employee roles/responsibilities related to Global Trade.

    • Partners with analytics to develop measurement strategy/analytics program/common dashboard to assess the engagement and performance of Global Trade employee communications.

    • Activates leader as communicator program to support mid-level management team engagement on topics that educate, encourage discussion and reinforce Global Trade compliance and excellence.

    • Develops and executes strategic, large-scale change communications that impact global Legal, Contracts and Compliance employees.

    Qualifications You Must Have

    • Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum of 14 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 12 years experience.

    • Minimum 7 years experience in people leadership roles with demonstrated ability to develop and retain top talent.

    • Experience in communications strategy development and execution to drive business results.

    • Experience and ability to apply employee engagement channel strategies to effect positive outcomes.

    • Prior experience driving change communications efforts in a matrix environment.

    • Strategic thinking and planning ability leveraging data driven outcomes.

    • Knowledge of employee engagement strategies and tactics.

    Qualifications We Prefer

    • Exceptional interpersonal, client consultation and problem-solving skills.

    • Proven agility and adaptability to changes in direction in a fast-paced working environment, including ability to flex to support priority initiatives as needed.

    • Deep knowledge of, and experience in, the aerospace and defense industry, with a preference for experience supporting strategy and content development for legal function.

    • Exemplary written and verbal communications skills.

    • Executive presence with ability to inspire confidence in senior leaders.

    • High degree of success in collaboration, teambuilding and leadership.

    • Hybrid from Farmington, CT; hybrid employees work both onsite and offsite, regularly.

    This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. The Re-Empower Program helps support talented and committed professionals as they rebuild their capabilities, enhance leadership skills, and continue their professional journey. Over the course of the 14-week program, experienced professionals will gain paid, on-the-job experience, have an opportunity to participate in sessions with leadership, develop personalized plans for success and receive coaching to guide their return-to-work experience. Upon completion of the program, based on performance and contributions participants will be eligible for a career at RTX.

    Minimum Program Qualifications

    To qualify for the RTX Re-Empower Program, candidates should:

    • Be on a career break of one or more year at time of application

    • Have prior experience in functional area of interest

    • Have interest in returning in either a full-time or part-time position

    The salary range for this role is 176,000 USD - 352,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

    Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
