    Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join a mature program in the Sterling VA location. The qualified Electrical Engineer will support a very dynamic program in a world-class operations facility and must have a broad range of experience supporting fast paced, quick reaction program requirements.

    Candidate’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

    •Responsible for multiple electrical systems, both CONUS and OCONUS, to include analysis and reporting of electrical data

    •Maintain documentation pertaining to the various projects, design drawings, technical reports, and engineering activities

    •Oversee the day-to-day functionality and provide engineering analysis for the Customer’s mission critical facilities

    Required Skills

    •Analyze data from the site’s monitoring system to assist design development, site expansion capabilities, or determining inefficiencies

    •Ability to calculate and develop power requirements for either new or existing facilities

    •In-depth knowledge of electrical equipment to include but not limited to; Unit Substations, Uninterruptable Power Systems (UPS), Generators, Automatic Transfer Switches

    •Develop Standard Operating Procedures and Sequence of Operations for electrical and control systems

    •Ability to interpret and design system one-line and control wiring diagrams

    •Ability to configure and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)

    •Engineer-in-training (EIT) certification

    Current TS/SCI with POLYGRAPH

    Desired Skills

    •Knowledgeable in mechanical cooling systems pertaining to Data Center configurations

    •Understanding of Building Monitoring Systems

    •Understanding of Computer aided design software such as AutoCAD

    Required Education (including Major):

    •Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited College or University in Electrical Engineering or other STEM related field with a minimum of 5 years’ experience

    Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project

    management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

    Typically requires:

    A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

    Engineering/Other Technical Positions:

    Typically requires a degree in Science,Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
