Position Role Type:
The Integrated Air Data Systems (IADS) engineering is seeking an electrical engineer at our Burnsville, MN location.
The industry leading IADS product lines, such as our Smartprobe®, provide critical data to the aircraft such as altitude, speed, and angle of attack. The position will be responsible for the design, development, test, qualification, certification, and product lifecycle support of IADS products. The individual in this position will be a highly motivated self-starter functioning as part of a larger design team.
This position is an on-site or hybrid role.
Performs engineering work for new products to ensure specification, quality standards, and functional objectives are met. This includes researching, developing, designing, and testing electrical components, equipment, systems, and products
Functions as an integral part of a larger electrical engineering design team
Interfaces with engineers, customers, vendors and other stakeholders on existing and potential engineering projects or products
Resolves technical problems to improve reliability, floor yield, scrap, and performance metrics
Creates engineering documentation for existing and new products
Develops and demonstrates a deep technical understanding of product families
Develops and executes electrical engineering standard practices
Bachelor’s degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
