Raytheon Technologies is seeking successful Solder-certified Technician/Operator to perform any combination of the following tasks in support of the production/rework/repair of various product lines including (but not limited to) electronics box assemblies, RF electronics, high-power distribution assemblies, electromechanical assemblies, cable/harness assemblies, electronics rack-mount systems/chassis, circuit card assemblies, and other similar-complexity assemblies. • Performs Solder rework of failed electrical assemblies • Reads/interprets assembly drawings in a manufacturing/rework environment towards the rework/repair of failed assemblies as well as new production • Candidate must have a current (or previously held) certification for IPC-JSTD 001 and IPC WHMA-A-620 involving solder and cable harness rework, respectively • Works closely with Engineering, Test Technicians, and Quality Assurance Inspection personnel on unit repairs and production • Maintains control of all Electro-static Sensitive (ESD) precautions and processes. • Strong work ethic and self-motivation - with strong emphasis on meeting deliverable schedules
Requirements:
• 4 years applicable experience ideally in a solder rework environment
• Strong soldering/rework and drawing interpretation skills
• Significant knowledge of the use of soldering/rework/repair equipment and tooling
• Strong Work Ethic and self-motivation
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to attain a Secret Security Clearance in the near future
• Good communication skills
Desired Skills:
• Computer Navigation Skills
• Current (or previously held) certification for IPC-J-STD 001 and IPC WHMA-A620 involving solder and cable harness rework
Required Education (including Major):
• High School Degree or equivalent
