Embedded Security Professional (ESP) will coordinate and monitor highly sensitive aspects of DoD or other industrial security programs and other security activities while ensuring compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.
The ESP will support clearance processing, visit certifications, document control, and physical security, including alarm response for Open Storage Areas. The ESP should also possess thorough understanding of security databases such as DISS, eQIP, and NISS. The ESP will be responsible for implementing and providing guidance to program management pertaining to security education, insider threat, classified document control, security investigations, classification control and personnel clearances.
The ESP will apply strong understanding of Physical Security requirements for collateral Closed Areas, and Open Storage Areas. ESP should have a working knowledge of SF-86, SF-312, DD-254s, SF700, SF702, Operations Security (OPSEC) to develop, implement, and maintain OPSEC Programs to protect sensitive unclassified information, activities, and materials.
Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Implement the industrial security program and ensure company and customer security requirements are met.
Interface with all levels of Leadership, personnel, and government management personnel.
Maintain security program compliance relative to changed condition packages, FCL sponsorship packages, and responding to DCSA, customer agency, and internal customer inquiries.
Analyze security issues/problems and provide focused solutions.
Bring security risks to the attention of the senior and program management, as identified.
Conduct security self-inspections, program security reviews, apply risk mitigation methodologies, support customer assessments, and implement security measures to meet requirements.
Make critical security decisions concerning high value contracts and to implement security procedures that will prevent unauthorized access to company and government facilities or information.
Provide clear guidance to company employees and recommend modifications to operations policies or procedures as appropriate.
Administer day-to-day security programs, personnel processing, program reviews, document control system, audits & self-inspections, violation investigations & reports, receipt/dispatch/destruction/mail logs, visit certs, etc.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years of prior relevant experience.
Current Secret / Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
Thorough working knowledge of the NISPOM, other relevant DoD security guidance, DCSA guidance.
Strong working knowledge of DISS, NISS, and e-QIP.
Strong understanding of Physical Security requirements to include collateral Closed Areas.
Experience creating and conducting initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as appropriate.
Tracking briefings, debriefings, and contract assignments.
Experience conducting security incident inquiries and writing investigation reports for internal use as well as external distribution.
Ability to develop and establish an effective security awareness, training, and education program.
Interact with Corporate HQ and program management on insider risk management activities.
Experience with proposal development and contract closeout processes.
Desired Skills:
Courier preparation procedures.
Experience developing and implementing OPSEC plans.
Knowledge of Access Control and Intrusion Detection Systems.
Professional Certifications/Affiliations.
Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.

The salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 124,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
