• Coding, simulation, and testing of developed FPGA design.

• Integration, testing, and debugging of FPGA design on the hardware platform.

• Review of FPGA design artifacts generated by others.

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• 3+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field OR in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Mentor Graphics ModelSim or Cadence Xcelium.
• Proficiency in VHDL is desired.
• Experience with Microsemi Libero.
• Experience working in Linux/Unix.
• Experience with MATLAB Simulink and MATLAB Simulink HDL Coder.
• Excellent hands-on laboratory skills in testing and verifying FPGA designs in hardware, and familiarity with a wide range of test equipment.
• Experience with aerospace certification of designs including familiarity with RTCA DO-254 is highly desired.
• Ability to perform a variety of tasks with a quick learning ability.
• Self-motivated and self-directed individual with little supervision necessary.
