Engineering Operations Analyst/Developer (onsite/remote hybrid)

The Engineering Operations Analyst/Developer performs a variety of analytics for the Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RIS) Engineering organizations.  Working across sites and functions, the candidate will develop and implement data reporting capabilities, apply statistical techniques to analyze results, and leverage reporting and data visualization tools to drive improvement.

The successful candidate for this assignment must be able to work independently and on project teams in a fast-paced environment using a variety of technologies.  Additionally, this position requires a basic understanding of the Engineering and Operations organizations as well as basic business and financial acumen.

Specific duties will include:

•Analyze and correlate large, complex data sets and provide information reports to users for further analysis

•Develop automated reporting solutions using Excel, VBA, Access, SAP, Business Warehouse, Data Visualization Software, and SQL

•Examine data from various platforms and integrate structured / unstructured data

•Develop and implement analytics reports and visualization toolsets.

Required Skills:

Data Analytics and Visualization

•Demonstrated on-the-job experience integrating and analyzing large, complex data sets

•Strong data analytics skills with the ability to prepare, process, analyze and visualize significant amounts of information from multiple data sources

•Experience with data visualization and reporting automation

•Ability to transform data into information and knowledge to facilitate targeted actions within engineering and operations.

Software, Systems, and Toolsets Experience

•Computer proficiency and demonstrated ability to learn new software applications.

•Advanced Microsoft data analysis capabilities, including Excel, VBA, PowerPivot, Access and Sharepoint

•Development and reporting experience in tools such as SAP, Business Warehouse, BW Analysis, PWER BI, Splunk, and SQL

•Self-starter able to organize, plan and execute

•Skilled at multi-tasking and managing multiple projects

•Minimum of 3 years applicable experience

•U.S. Citizenship status is required with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Desired Skills:

•Experience developing reporting and analysis solutions in a SAP environment.

•Experience in using data reporting development and visualization tools including Analysis for Office, SAP BEx Analyzer, BEx Query Designer, Web Intelligence, Tableau, Lumira, and Microsoft PowerBI

•Knowledge of best practices for database administration, data warehousing, security procedures and products.

•Experience in operational automation through machine learning and use of scripts

•Experience in extracting information from MRP systems and business systems and understanding of process flow and information relationships

•Strong business acumen

•Active Secret clearance

Education:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
