    Job Summary:

    Come join our dynamic team of Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) professionals! Raytheon Missiles and Defense has an opportunity for an energetic, motivated, level-headed and self-directed Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to support our ongoing compliance and risk reduction efforts at the Marlborough, MA site.  This site offers the EHS Specialist opportunity to work with development and engineering teams to foster employee engagement, seamlessly integrate EHS requirements, and drive risk reduction and continuous improvement of the EHS program.

    Responsibilities to Anticipate:

    • Manage and oversee the site’s environmental programs, including, but not limited to, hazardous waste management, stormwater management and SPCC.

    • Ensure pollution prevention programs, “zero-waste” principles, and sustainability initiatives are developed and implemented in a robust and integrated manner.

    • Recognize, evaluate and control hazardous workplace conditions.

    • Taking proactive steps to ensure the safety and health of site employees.

    • Support the safety and ergonomic programs to ensure employee health and safety at site and working remotely.

    • Position requires limited travel for participation in Company seminars, EHS audits and training opportunities.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    • Typically require a university degree and 5 years EHS related experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years of related experience, or an associate degree with 7 years of related experience or in the absence of the degree, 9 years of related experience is required.
    • The ability to obtain and maintain a US government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

    Qualifications We Value:

    • Industrial hygiene and/or safety experience
    • Experience with ergonomics and industrial material handling
    • Strong computer skills, including use of the Microsoft Office Suite
    • Project management and execution skills
    • Experience in managing EH&S issues in a union work environment.
