    Collins Aerospace is seeking and experienced Executive Assistant (Hybrid). This role provides office management support in a staff capacity to leadership with administrative assistance. This position will serve as a dual role supporting the Finance and Human Resources department. You will provide organization wide global internal support. This role is the partnering liaison for leadership programs with external universities. To do this role effectively you should have a detailed understanding of the full Microsoft Office suite, be extremely fast at solving problems and have experience as an executive or administration assistant in the past.

    This is a hybrid position based in Troy, OH. Individuals will be expected to be onsite approximately two – three days per week.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Performs a combination of administrative tasks in various functional areas located throughout RTX.
    • Represents organizational unit on administrative matters.
    • Prepare budgeting, project scheduling, and statistical reports as required.
    • Data entry and other normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files, interviewing callers, and making proper referrals, arranging meetings and conferences, and receiving, referring, or answering mail.
    • Reviews drafts and finished documents and answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures.
    • Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to supervisor’s assignment.
    • Provides executive assistant services as a direct assistant to Human Resources and Finance leader.
    • Schedule team offsite meetings and event planning
    • Works under minimal supervision to perform administrative activities.
    • Schedule and coordinate leaders’ meetings, determining priorities and maintaining calendars.
    • Types and assembles complex data (i.e., tables, charts, reports and memorandums) under general direction; applies a sound working knowledge of equipment capabilities to plan details of formatting, spacing and page layout.
    • Interfaces with all levels of personnel and external contacts to coordinate departmental efforts and exchange information requiring moderate interpretation or discussion.
    • Establishes, maintains, and reviews departmental files; maintains control files on confidential/high priority matters and follows up on outstanding issues when required.
    • May prepare materials and agenda for departmental and/or leader meetings.
    • Reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage and answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures.
    • May be required attend staff meetings, seminars, etc., to take notes or furnish information.
    • Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of Collins Aerospace personnel and external contacts.
    • Responsibilities may include food and cafeteria management, travel arrangement and commercial flight services.
    • Travel and expense reporting
    • 10% Travel in North America

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Typically requires:
      • AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience OR
      • In the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 8 years of relevant experience is required OR
      • A bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and less than 2 years of relevant experience.
      • Experience effectively communicating orally and in writing.
      • Microsoft Office Suites Experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • SAP, Concur experience.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in communications or equivalent.
    • Experience booking travel and working with expense reports.
    • Experience supporting executive leadership.
    • Organizational skills / multitask experience.
    • Event Planning experience.
