Job Description:
Opportunity for growth on the F135 Enhanced Engine Package (EEP) EDSI team. This position will ensure the F-35 has a Pratt and Whitney engine forever! The position has upward mobility and exciting challenges.
Responsibilities:
Lead Sub-System Integrated Product Teams (SSIPT’s) as needed to ensure a systems approach across multiple module centers and systems organizations.
Manage configuration control steps as program progresses through Conceptual Design, Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Detailed Design Review (DDR) phases.
Own the digital markup (DMU) and X-section updates under design integration function.
Present DMU and X-section update status and highlight challenges at program reviews.
Schedule and Lead design integration discipline reviews leading to PDR and DDR.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 3 years of experience.
Experience with Team center and Unigraphics.
U.S. citizenship is required due to government contracts.
Able to obtain Active US Government security clearance and/or maintain US Government security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Security Clearance.
IT Focal JCL 2 with experience in export jurisdiction and classification.
Proven ability to balance multiple priorities, create achievable plans, and work with minimal daily supervision.
Knowledge of jet engine operation and experience in engineering with module center product knowledge.
Basic Teamcenter, xClass and Microsoft Office proficiency.
Excellent Communication and presentation skills.
Experience working with military customers and being comfortable presenting to both military and company leadership.
